We'll have a "mini silent auction" from 7-8pm at the meeting for a pair of custom made "Gypsies in the Palace" sunglasses designed and donated by Helen Connolly! All monies will go to USF. Glasses and bid sheet will be located at the "Phins to da Left" store.

Seaside Sunsets & Sonnets

We had a PHantastic Meeting at Whiskey Joe's last night! The sunset was PHenomenal! The weather was great and standing out on the deck you could smell the salt from the bay it was truly a day in paradise! Whiskey Joe's served excellent food and provided some good drink specials. If you haven't made it to a meeting lately we urge you to make plans to attend in two weeks. One meeting at our new home and we think you will be hooked again! Then you can get back into the Parrot Head life style the way it should be. Now our next meeting is a very important meeting... we will be announcing our new officers. By now you should have all received your ballots and hopefully are mailing them in. I have attached all the campaign statements accept mine....I want again say thank you for the vote of confidence to the club and to those that were nominated for the President position and choose not to run. It is an honor to serve this great club for two more years. OK, enough of that, I want to encourage all members in good standing to vote. We are privileged to have so many wonderful Parrot Heads willing to step up and want to serve our club. So, please take the time read their statements and vote for those you think will best serve our club for the next two years.

Wednesday, October 6th is our first official meeting back home at Whiskey Joe’s

If you missed our 5th Wednesday at Whiskey Joe’s last week you missed a great time. But no worries mate, we are officially back home at Whiskey Joe’s starting with are regular 1st and 3rd Wednesday meetings this week!


We are so excited about being back home at Whiskey Joe’s we want to extend an invitation to our neighboring clubs to plan and attend our meeting this Wednesday starting at 6:30. If you think you might need a place to stay there are several hotels in the area you can stumble to if needed.


I thought I would share a couple of the great responses about last Wednesday at Whiskey Joe’s:

As a 16 plus year member of the TBPHC, I am extremely happy with our soft opening last night, and I can’t wait for our official opening next week at Whiskey Joes. Last night, we were up against 20,000 free Rays tickets, and the possibility of bad weather on our first night at our new location, yet we had a great crowd, a beautiful sunset over Tampa Bay, fabulous food, and very happy members. The staff at Whiskey Joes loved us, the valet parking was quick and easy, the beverages were reasonable and served quickly. Good job to all involved with the move. I know we have some special swag for next Wednesday’s meeting, and I would hope that you would extend an invitation to our missing members and sister clubs in the area and let them know that we are back HOME, and they are welcome to come celebrate with us.

Hey Bryan, Carissa and I wanted to tell you how happy we are to have Whiskey Joes as our new(old) home. It is so much more fitting of the club to be looking at sand, sea & sunsets. Good job skipper ;)


Important Information Regarding Whiskey Joe’s:


Parking: Whiskey Joe's offers free valet, tip appreciated.


To park your vehicle in the overflow beach parking lot, you MUST get a parking pass from Whiskey Joe’s management.


You MUST have your TBPH lanyard (yes, your name badge with your valid sticker on back), to partake in the buffet.


The buffet will served from 6:30-7:30


Whiskey Joe’s will serve happy hours priced appetizers to TBPH members and have some great Drink Specials all night.

Sign-up for the Sunset Cruise out of John's Pass. Limit 80, more details to follow. We will be meeting at the Friendly Fisherman (around 3pm) for food & drink specials and phlocking to a local tavern for a night cap. Cost is $15 a person.
